Before Super Soakers, before Entertech, there were cheap plastic squirt guns. In the summer they were available at every drugstore and corner store around. They weren’t very powerful, the leaked, they always wound up hurting your trigger finger so much that you eventually had to switch to a middle finger for a while, and ultimately they’d crack or just shatter after one fall to the pavement. But for a long time, these were the rulers of the summertime water wars.
